ABOUT ULTIMATE REALITY

Reality is the quality or the state of being real, the conjectured state of things as they actually are in existence. How things may appear or may be imagined is a non issue, things that have been and things that are part of reality. Something that is real is something that actually exists. It is often observed that the more we define reality, the more complex it becomes, the harder it becomes to comprehend, but at the basis of it, reality is simply the state of being there, being in existence. The contrast of reality can be stated as delusions, imaginations, dreams, false, abstract or fictions. Reality has been argued to be nothing more than a notion. The value of reality as an idea has largely been said find its basis in the number of people that find agreement is any given situation like for example if we all agree that a particular item is an apple then it really does not matter whether it is a peach.
Ultimate reality is something that is the supreme, final and fundamental power in all reality. It has been defined as a personal being in the sense of individual persons and those persons loving God or a supreme being, impersonal being from which all personal beings are originated from which is essentially God or a supreme being, or an eternal truth or principle governing the universe.  These three definitions have been said to define the same reality. The ultimate reality of Christianity, Judaism and Islam is God and the belief in God. This ultimate reality however, despite being shared by such a large number of people is not shared by the Hindu, or the Chinese or even the atheists. This is the ultimate reality of particular persons and this cannot be held as the ultimate reality of all persons. This then goes to show that there is no single ultimate reality that is shared by all people.
Ultimate reality has no claim to any higher authority. Each religion in the world acknowledges and lays claim to an ultimate reality that is unchanging and eternal which is the highest authority. This then means that the three definitions of a personal being, impersonal being and an eternal principle or truth governing the universe should be consistent with each other. With Hinduism, there is no one ultimate reality since there is no unitary religion. There are multitudes of religious and philosophical trends which means that there are a number of ultimate realities. There is Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer. With Christianity there is God and the Holy Trinity, with Islam there is God and Muhammad, with Taoism there is the impersonal ultimate reality of the Tao. With Buddhism, the ultimate reality is just a transcendent truth which governs the world and the universe, no deities are associated with the origin of the world. With Judaism there is God as the ultimate reality who is seen to have existed when nothing else existed. This god is said to have created the world from nothing.
The religions of the world present very different and divergent views on their beliefs of the ultimate reality. Each has its own ultimate reality which is irreconcilable with the other ultimate realities associated with the other religions. There are even to an extent some irreconcilable positions within the many branches of Hinduism. The three great monotheistic religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism too state some irreconcilable positions that touch on the nature of the personal God. With Christianity he is tri-personal, known as the trinity while in Islam and Judaism he is mono-personal. This is a clear indication that there is no such thing as a single ultimate reality where all mankind is involved. There are however a couple of ultimate realities that are based on the religion that an individual professes.
